Jamar Nearly Transferred???

Wow, didn't know that. "Alumni 92" over at Big Purple Fans provided the link from the New York Times article today (written in house) that refers to Jamar Wilson's near exodus to Marquette during the 5-23 season 2 years ago. From the article:

"Everything seemed to be going downhill and I thought about transferring to Marquette," Wilson said. "I was trying to stay positive, but how positive can you be when your team record is 5-23? But Coach Brown required me to attend every practice that season even if I couldn't play, and I went to every game home and away.

"It made me a better person and player."
