Brown Town

T-minus 10 hours, 15 minutes to gametime......

And, the student faithful have turned the area outside the gym into a city of tents, starting as early as Thursday night (for the 12:00 Saturday tipoff). The cluster of tents, lawn chairs and blankets, dubbed "Brown Town" by the student body, is gearing up for the game with music, frisbees, and one would assume, some libations. According to this post, the crowd is estimated at over 500 people, and described as a "crazy party". Capital News 9 stopped by for a visit, which you can see here. I'm glad to see the coverage that CN9 gives to the Great Danes. Whereas the other stations have been around awhile, and cover Siena like they walk on water, Capital News 9 is a newer station...perhaps they don't have those strong allegiances?
I'm hoping that the ticket distributors have some sort of system for distributing the tickets to ensure that the kids sleeping out get the seats, and it doesn't turn into a bullrush of latecomers, trying to show up and get a seat. Anyway, Im off to bed now....get up, go to work (im such a disappointment....I am already kicking myself for missing the game, and it hasnt happened yet.

P.S. - I love the name "Brown Town". From one state college grad to another, very creative name.

UPDATE - (9:35 am, Saturday) - Brown Town is now insane. CN9 had a live feed, and its well into the thousands now outside the RACC. Its awesome..keep it up, kids. Don't get tired before gametime!!
